I would be looking for a fair amount of post graduate expereince within Mental Health and specifically with triaging Mental Health Patients and managing Crisis events within that.
The duties include:
- Be a strong advocate for Mental Health within the team and step up in the place of Management if needed
- Supervise with the delivery of the Mental Health Framework
- Work with CQI always in mind
- Ensure correct care is delivered
- Work in a safety concious mindset
- Triage Mental Health Patients accordingly
What is needed:
- Extensive experience of working within Mental Health
- AHPRA registration
- Experience of working within Crisis teams and Mental Health triage
- Community experience
- Mental Health qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of conduct risk assessments
- Ability to work autonomously
- Work interdepartmentally to ensure the correct care is delivered to the patient
