On behalf of our client, which specializes in providing care in retirement living and residential aged care, we are looking for a Registered Nurse. The facility is located in a beautiful area of North Sydney, NSW.
Main responsibilities:
- Taking vital signs from patients
- Asking patients about their symptoms and relaying this information to a supervising nurse or physician
- Feeding patients and monitoring their food and liquid intake
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene
- Assisting with wound care and some medical procedures
- Cleaning rooms and maintaining a sanitized environment

Skills and experience:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care (or equivalent)
- Aged care experience desired
- Good Aged Care knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Caring, supportive and compassionate nature
- Patience and ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm manner
